Whether it is evangelism in the prisons, out in the streets, in schools, or working with churches, we go where we feel God is leading. Since 1993 we have been able to co-labor with many wonderful people and ministries. Our work does not stop when we arrive home though. This is why we have the Mabuhay Connection, Media Center, Bible College, etc. Our desire is to follow-up on the work that has been established and to continue to strengthen the churches. Acts 15:36; Acts 15:41.

Our teams minister within the U.S.A. and abroad.

USA Crusades - David & Joan Betts, djbetts@verizon.net.

International Crusades - Phil Mahlow, pmahlow@aol.com.

David and Joan Betts have been honored to help the people in downtown San Bernardino, California. Their ministry lies centrally in the parking lots of motels (as pictured above). For most, it is one step away from homelessness where many children call home. In September of 2004, they started this work by inviting the residents of one hotel out for a bible study, free toys, and candy. When distributing these items and talking to the people, they saw the true condition of these little ones. Some children walk bare-footed with dirt and scales covering their feet while others have rotted teeth.

The Betts now go out with their three children on a regular basis bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition, they bring brand new shoes, socks, blankets, food, used clothing, and many other donated items. There is nothing the people need to do in the act of receiving. These items are freely given to all in need.

Another extension of this work is co-laboring with other Christian ministries in helping the peoples’ needs and bringing healing to their souls in the name of Jesus.

Lavona and Ozzie at an outreach with the children in the Philippines. They were dancing to "Making Melody in My Heart" (the children's song). It was kind of funny. At first only us women would do it, but after a while, the guys could not resist and they joined us. On this trip, they did it at a jail and the guards and the prisoners joined in!

On one trip to the Philippines, these young children were in jail with all of the adult men, yet happy to worship the Lord in spite of their circumstances.
